Bill Cherry, an Elvis impersonator didn't make it to the final 10 in Memphis' Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist but he did win the preliminary round at Stoneridge Amphitheater, Lake of the Ozarks, Camdenton, MO

"A lifelong Elvis fan and tribute artist, Bill Cherry has been keeping the music and memories of Elvis alive since 1989. Bill was born into a musical family and was exposed to Elvis at an early age. He has deep southern gospel roots, as did Elvis. He has entertained countless fans, young and old alike. He takes great pride in each and every performance, keeping the memory of Elvis alive. Meet Elvis impersonator Irv Cass

Elvis impersonator Irv Cass prefers to be known as a tribute artist. Irv won the preliminary round at Mercer Co. Fairgrounds, Harrodsburg, KY.

Born in Fort Wayne, IN, Irv Cass was raised in Michigan. He has a background in sales, dance and modeling,. He began impersonating the King in 1991. Since then, he has won numerous contests including the 1999 "Worldwide Images of the King." More recently, he won the 2006 Championship in Collingwood, Ontario, Canada (Jumpsuit Division).

"As a performer with the Las Vegas "Legends in Concert", Irv Cass singes a heartfelt Tribute to the one and only King of Rock and Roll - Elvis."

Meet Australian Elvis impersonator Mark Anthony

It's really Mark Piantados but he chose the name Mark Anthony as his stage name when performing as an Elvis impersonator. Mark competed with 23 others for the title of the world's best Elvis at the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist competition in Tennnessee as you know

Sadly for his Australian fans, Mark did not make it into the final 10 but he did a great job to make it as far as he did. Mark won the title of the finest Elvis impersonator in Australia and the South Pacific during a heat on the Gold Coast.

Meet Justin Edwards, another great Elvis impersonator

Elvis impersonator Justin Edwards, or tribute artist as his website calls him was the Preliminary Winner of Roland, Oklahoma.

Justin has made a full-time career out of paying tribute to Elvis Presley since he hit the scene in August, 2005.

His biography says:

"His love of performing and knowledge of Elvis’ work shines through every night when he takes the stage, which is why he has won many awards and honors performing his one of a kind tribute to Elvis all across the united States and Canada."

Meet Elvis impersonator Rich Vickers

Rich Vickers has done very well as an Elvis impersonator. Although Rich didn't make into the final 10, he did mighty well to get to where he did.

I visited Rich's website (you'll find the link below) and he'd written the following words which I thought you might like to read. It gives a good send of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest:

"With a total of 7 Elvis competitions under my new Elvis belt, I entered the first ever EPE (Editor - Elvis Presley Enterprises) contest in Arnold and won it.

It was amazing and surreal to be the first EVER Regional Winner for the Ultimate Elvis TributeArtist search sponsored by Elvis Presley Enterprises. I won a thousand dollars and the right to compete in Memphis.

Competiting in Memphis was both exhilarating and heartbreaking. Being around EPE and the camera’s, the venue; it was an experience like none other.

My “goal” was just to make it to the top ten. Which I didn’t."
