Elvis, Elvis, Elvis has been performing world-wide since its inception in 1979 and now the show is back in British Columbia.

"Elvis Presley last performed in Canada on Aug. 31, 1957 at Empire Stadium in Vancouver. But he’ll rise from the dead three times at the Abby Arts Centre. The resurrections will come in the form of three of the best Elvis impersonators on the planet. Justin Shandor, Danny Vernon and Greg Miller each play a different era of the King’s career in the internationally acclaimed tribute show Elvis, Elvis, Elvis."

Sounds great.

Meet Elvis impersonator Johnny Thompson

Another of the top Elvis imersonators in the world is Johnnny Thompson. He won the the preliminary round of the Ultimate Elvis Contest at San Diego County Fair, Del Mar Fairground, CA

His site says:

Johnny Thompson was born in Ft.Worth, Texas and raised in the South. His father was an avid Elvis fan and exposed Johnny to Elvis at an early age. Johnny grew up listening to Elvis and watching his movies. Having been from the South really adds a exciting and realistic authenticity to Johnny's recreation of Elvis on stage.

Johnny grew up singing gospel music at church since a young child and was always told he sounded like Elvis by his mother. "She would tell me to try not to sound so much like Elvis when I was leading singing at Church. I told her, Mom, I'm just singing"!
