If you want the Australian Elvis impersonator experience well, consider adding a trip down under to visit this famous Aussie festival. A  three year deal has been signed that seals the 'CountryLink Parkes Elvis Festival' from 2009-2011!

The Elvis Express conveys festival visitors from Sydney Central Station to Parkes each January to enjoy the festival.The Elvis Express is given an Elvis farewell from Central Station, has a dedicated Elvis Tribute Artist on-board to entertain passengers throughout their journey, receives a heroes welcome when it arrives at Parkes Railway Station and attracts significant media coverage.

Tupelo Elvis Festival - Tupelo Mississippi, Elvis Presley®

Elvis impersonator fans may well know of this festival and may be interested to know that tickets go on sale from May 1st.

The 10th Annual Hometown Tribute to the King of Rock 'n Roll is being held on June 6th, 7th, and 8th. It's a very exciting time of the year - because of course there's heats now on for 2008 Elvis Tribute Artist Contest..

First Preliminary Round of 2008 Ultimate Elvis Contest was held in Arnold, Missouri

The first preliminary round of the 2008 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest was held on Saturday in Arnold, Missouri. This is Arnold's second year as a preliminary round.

An estimated 800 attended the evening session, which followed a preliminary session in the afternoon that drew a somewhat smaller crowd.

French-Italian Elvis impersonator Max Pellicano Pellicano’s show, Elvis to the Max, is being taken to Kuala Lumpur and it's not his first show there..

"Born in Monaco, Pellicano spent his early years in New York City. Like all self-respecting Elvis impersonators, he remembers vividly his introduction to Elvis Presley.

“I was six, and my brother played Hound Dog and All Shook Up about a thousand times. I was all shook up, I can tell ya!”

The Festival runs from Thursday, July 24 until Sunday, July 27 and features some of the greatest Elvis tribute artists in the industry competing for the represent Collingwood at the The 2008 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest. This Contest is run by Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. in Memphis, Tennessee during the annual 'Elvis Week' festivities in August.

UK's most successful Elvis Presley impersonator - LEE 'Memphis’ King

Lee "Memphis"King was the British finalist in The World's Greatest Elvis competition and has previously been voted the number one Elvis tribute at Canada's Collingwood Festival. He's in concert this Sunday in Liverpool, England.

But poor Lee's whole interview seems to focus on the King's diet rather than Lee's talent. Here's an excerpt.. interesting approach:

“One thing is for sure, although I try and imitate Elvis Presley in as much detail as I possibly can, I don't follow his diet. I try to follow a healthy lifestyle and work out a lot, even when I am on tour.
