Female Elvis Impersonator Performs at Long Beach

Like I always say - Elvis impersonators, they come in all shapes and sizes, young or old male or female and even children in some instances.. and race is not an issue..

Is there anyone else in history that has had this level of respect and adoration from such a diverse group?

IndyStar.com | State Fair | The Indianapolis Star

Great article that says.. "As my final taste of the Indiana State Fair, the Elvis impersonators kept me smiling and laughing for the whole hour and a half I was there."

And that is the case.. Elvis impersonator fans have good taste and they have a great sense of humor!

But ultimately, they are fans of the King himself.. imagine so many people  trying to emulate you so long after your death! Is there anyone else in the world in our history that has this level of respect and adoration that this has been the case?

Tributes paid Llanrwst Elvis impersonator

We'd also like to pay tribute to Larry Kewley who died at the age of 59.

"With king-sized modesty, Larry always admitted he was one of the worst Elvis Presley impersonators in the world, but he used his talents to raise money for many good causes at charity shows."

“He was generous with his time, always doing something for charity, from participating in the donkey derby to his infamous ‘Worst Elvis’ shows, helping raise money for charities including St David’s Hospice, Hope House, Clic Sargent and the tsunami appeal,” said his niece Chance Marsh.

Elvis impersonators come together to impress at Morpeth - ChronicleLive

OK, not quite THE competition we've just had but another opportunity to let those who love to pay tribute to Elvis strut their stuff!

"Crowds clapped along to the sounds of the Cadillac 59 band, as the judges scored each of the impersonators on their singing, looks and interpretation.

Top marks went to Trevor Clark of Ashington who impressed judges with his rendition of Love Me Tender and Teddy Bear."
