Meet another Elvis impersonator who made it into the final 10 of the first ever Ultime Elvis Tribute Artist competition in Memphis.
Trent Carlini was born in Chicago to parents who immigrated to the United States from Italy. At the age of five he became a fan of Rock' n Roll and began playing guitar at 10 years old. Music had become a major part of his life within just those short years. He attended school in Italy and then moved back to the U.S. in 1987, making Florida his home. "One could always find Trent, performing in local clubs!" his website states.
After the death of Elivs in 1977 a change in Trent's muscial direction took place and he decided to become an Elvis impersoantor, trying to recreate the syle of the man he'd so admired and who had had a huge impact on his life. Trent's star really began to shine in 1988 when he was chosen to star in the Annual Birthday Tribute to the King at the Star Plaza Theater in Indiana. And that was it - Trent has been a truly sought after Elvis impersonator ever since.
