A town called Parkes in the state of New South Wales hosts this annual event which is growing year by year.
The article says:
"The Parkes Elvis Festival is held every January to coincide with Elvis' birthday on January 8.It began in 1993 as a small, one-night event but has grown into a five-day festival expected to draw record crowds of 8000 to the drought-stricken town.
The festival has more than 80 events, including concerts, a gospel church service, street parades and a cheeseburger eating competition."
